Two Months Old!

Ellie had her 2 month appointment today and it went great! We can't believe that it's already been two months. On the other hand, we can't remember life without little Ellie. Ellie is starting to get a a personality and it's so fun to see her change from week to week. At two months, Ellie:

• Weights 9 lbs 15 oz (26%) and is 22.5 inches long (56%)
• Loves to smile and squeal. At mealtime, we sit her in the bouncy seat facing us and she stares and smiles at Madelyn the entire time. Ellie is very entertained by watching us eat and can't wait to sit with us at the table.
• Eats 8 times a day and takes a bottle great when I'm not around
• Was sleeping through the night (around 7 - 8 hours straight), but she has started waking up once during the night. We put her to bed around 9 - 10 and she wakes up around 3 - 4 and then she sleeps until around 8. She's a great sleeper and loves her crib and we hope this continues. She's still very portable and takes naps just about anywhere. I'm enjoying this time before we have a nap schedule!
• Loves the Baby Bjorn and spends a lot of time in it during the day. She takes a late afternoon nap just about every day in the Bjorn when we go outside to play.
• Has a head full of hair and can actually wear a small bow. I have a tendency to go bow crazy so I'm trying to hold off with the bows for a while:)

Ellie is such a sweet little baby and we love watching her little personality develop. She's been a joy and just goes with the flow with all the activities we have planned during the week. Next week, Ellie is going to have her first big road trip to CT and can't wait to meet more of the McGuire side of the family, especially her cousin Jack!

Ellie has big blue eyes when she's wide awake. I'm curious to see if they stay blue like her Mommy!
