Easter Bunny

Last Friday was a beautiful afternoon so the kids dressed up and visited the Easter Bunny.  I was convinced that it was going to be a disaster because Holden has terrible separation anxiety and cries when we leave him with anyone.   He surprised us by LOVING the Easter Bunny.  He was kissing and hugging the bunny and sat on his lap for a while. He even ran back to see the bunny again after we were all done.  Looks like any babysitters I have in the future will have to dress up as a bunny!

Special treat on the train afterwards!

Soccer!

Madelyn was been wanting to try out a team sport so when a couple of her friends asked if she wanted to play soccer she was all over it.  They are playing on a little YMCA team and most of the girls have never played soccer before so it was the perfect fit for Madelyn.  They had their first game this past Saturday and it went really well.   Madelyn was able to keep up with  the group and actually kicked the ball a a bunch of times and almost scored a goal. Despite losing, The Trojans had a great first game and everyone gave it their best shot so it was a success!

First game was fun but cold!

Holden and Ellie enjoy being at the soccer field.  Ellie can't wait for her season to start with the Strikers!

First practice!

Happy 6th Birthday Ellie!

Ellie is 6 years old and we could not be more proud of our funny, affectionate and sweet little Ellie.  She celebrated her birthday with so much excitement and smiles and it was hard to not have a good time when celebrating Ellie's birthday. We visited her school and had a little celebration in her classroom and in the evening Nana and Pop and the Nolans came over for gifts and ice cream cake.  On Saturday, Ellie celebrated her birthday with friends and family at Twist Gymnastics.  She had a great time at her little party and fun was had by all!
