Preschool Graduation and End of Year Festivities

Last week was filled with End of Year events for preschool.  I can't believe my little girl has "graduated" from preschool and is going to Kindergarten next year.  Madelyn had a great 3 years at Mount Vernon with wonderful teachers and friendships. The week started off with her class End of Year party on Monday, Preschool program and graduation on Wednesday and Family Fun Day of Thursday.  It was a fun-filled week and Madelyn was a little sad saying bye to her friends and teacher but we are very excited that our Summer vacation has begun!

Madelyn loved her teacher, Ms. Julie!

Mother's Day Celebrations

I am so lucky to be the Mom of two beautiful little girls.  I am also blessed to have such a wonderful mom myself who is a role model to me and an awesome "Nana" to her grandchildren.  I don't know what we would do without her!  Here are some photos from Mother's Day including a couple of photos from the Mother's Day Celebration at Madelyn's preschool.  I enjoyed every minute in Madelyn's classroom and it was so nice to spend this special time with my little girl!

The teacher did such a good job with the Sunflower theme!

Strawberry Picking

Last week we made our yearly trip to the strawberry patch to pick some delicious strawberries.  It was a little muddy after a couple days of rain but it was still an awesome time.  This year, we decided to go make the drive out to Chesterfield Berry Farm.  The kids loved the hay ride, picking strawberries, playing in the corn pit, and eating a picnic lunch followed by yummy strawberry milkshakes (treated by Nana - thank you!).   We ended up staying at the farm all morning and into the afternoon and did not get home until almost 3 o'clock.  The kids were exhausted!  Here are some photos from our fun adventure at the Chesterfield Berry Farm:

My girls.  I love our little day trips!

The crew!  Some of Aunt Amy's friends also joined us.

My soon to be Kindergartener.  I'm going to miss these weekday morning outings when she starts school next year!

The girls loved to stay close to Nana because she picks the best strawberries!
