Enjoying last few weeks of Summer

We have really been trying to soak up as much sun and fun as we can these last couple of weeks of summer.  We can't believe summer is almost over but also excited about ending it with a bang at the Outer Banks with family.  As always, we have spent lots of time swimming with friends at the pool.  We also went to the Goochland Drive In Move with a family from our neighborhood, visited Busch Gardens and saw the fireworks with the Nolan clan, had a couple of pool parties, went bowling (forgot to take pictures), and lots of other things.  Here are some photos from some of the fun things we have been doing!

Sleepover with our neighbor, Lauren

Fenway's first movie!

Seeing Planes 2 at the Goochland Drive In
They had such a great time!

Fun visit with Meme

Lots of fun with Hattie this summer!

Ellie wanted me to take this picture of her being silly off the diving board.  She has become quite independent in the water!  I have been spoiled this year and will have a rude awakening next year!

One of our Friday night pizza nights at the pool with friends!

Afternoon/evening visit to Busch Gardens!

Girls went on Roman Rapids for first time and were soaked.  As you can see from Bill's face, he loved it just as much as the kids!

So happy after the ride!

Soaked little girls!

Elmo Roller Coaster.  Later in the night, they went on 4 times in the dark.  They had a blast!

Watching Fireworks with Cotton Candy. Can't get any better than this!

Our sweet little 1st grader!

Baby Freckles needed to get in one of the photos!  33 weeks in this photo
Friday night pizza with neighbors this past Friday.  We had over 20 people so needed a BIG pizza!

Member Appreciation Party yesterday at pool.  What a fun time with a DJ, bounce houses, free tacos from the taco truck and ice cream.  Beautiful day!

Madelyn and her buddy Ethan!

Ellie and Cora in matching suits!

Madelyn worked so hard on the hula hoop during the party.  I need to get her one to practice!
