Apple Picking

One of our favorite Fall outings is apple picking in Charlottesville.  We went late this year so there were no apples left but we enjoyed the apple donuts and picked apples out of a barrel.  We met my cousin Kathryn and her family at the orchard and then had lunch with the at a brewery followed by a visit to their new home.   What a beautiful day to spend with family and the kids had a blast!

JMU/UR Game

We went to the JMU/UR game this Fall with the Nolans and our JMU neighbors.  It was a beautiful fall day and everyone had an awesome time.  It is always so much fun to tailgate on the UR campus and cheer for our own schools at the game!

End of Soccer

Here are a couple more photos of Madelyn playing Fall soccer.  Madelyn really began to understand the game and she became a little more aggressive which was nice to see.  She's really starting to like soccer and it is such a great team sport and good exercise. Madelyn also had a great coach too!   She is already talking about playing again in the spring!

Star Wars Halloween 2016

Halloween had a Star Wars theme for our family this year!  It was a ton of fun and we all loved it.  Most of us except Holden was terrified of the Chewy and Darth Vader masks!  We started off Halloween a couple of days early at Nana and Pop's neighborhood and we stayed close to home with neighbors on actual Halloween.  What a fun time with friends and family!
