Easter Weekend

Easter weekend was also jam packed!  We kicked off the weekend with a fire pit night celebrating Tim's birthday and it became quite the party with neighbors.  It was such a fun evening! On Saturday, we had an Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch with my mom's group at church.  On Sunday, we left at 8AM for 9AM mass (crazy early!) followed by lunch at Nana and Pop's house and then ANOTHER egg hunt at a friend's house.  After 4 egg hunts in one week, we were about done!  We had a wonderful Easter and Spring Break and our back in our normal routine this week.  We are now counting the days until Summer Vacation!

Then Nolans joined in on the fun!

Madelyn finally found her Easter Basket.  It was sitting on a shelf right in the middle of the play room and they kept missing it.  It may be a while before the bunny tries some more difficult places!

Ellie finally found her basket in the dining room!
Can you tell how sun burned they got on Saturday? Mother of the Year here forgetting the lotion!

Nana and Pop hid eggs all around their house and the eggs had money inside.  It kept the girls busy for 45 minutes!

Such  a fun time with family at Nana and Pop's house!

Spring Break Getaway

Over Spring Break, we spent a couple of nights at my Aunt Doris's timeshare in Williamsburg.  We left the husbands at home and had a fun little girl's getaway (Josh was only boy). Aunt Doris and Nana even joined in on the fun.   The resort was really nice and the kids loved staying in the condo.  We swam, played miniature golf and spent the day at Jamestown.  It was so nice getting out of town and Madelyn and Ellie loved spending quality time with their cousins!

Swimming in the indoor pool.  Too bad it was too chilly for the outdoor pool because it was open and looked awesome!

Have you ever seen two little girls so excited about Jamestown?

Listening to the gun being shot and they thought it was so funny!

This was their favorite part of the trip!

Neighborhood Fun

Last weekend, we spent a lot of time with our neighbors to kick off the start of Spring Break.  On Friday, we had our weekly Happy Hour in the cul-da sac that usually ends up in ordering dinner together (usually pizza).    On Saturday, we had our annual neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt and Brunch.  We arrived at the brunch at 10AM and did not leave until 8PM that night so it turned out being an all day party.  It was a beautiful day so we all avoided the yard work at home and hung out in the cul-da-sac which was actually pretty sad but so much fun. The adults ate and drank under a tent for most of the day while the kids played outside and watched movies in a friend's garage.  This is our favorite time of year in the neighborhood and we have gotten really close to a lot of families which has been really nice!

This box kept these kids entertained for a long time!
