Go Squirrels!

We spent the weekend with good friends and celebrated Father's Day on Sunday with an early cookout and baseball. It was a very busy and fun weekend. On Saturday, we got together with some old friends and had a lot of good food and drinks and stayed up very late for us (I was proud of myself). On Sunday, we celebrated Father's Day by going to the Flying Squirrels game. Richmond lost their baseball team a couple of years ago and we have a new team this year called the Flying Squirrels. Luckily, the team has gotten a lot of support and fans. It was perfect for our family because it was inexpensive and close to home. We took Nana and Pop to the game and met up with Uncle Sam and Cora and our friends, the Moores. It was a very fun but chaotic time! Madelyn loved watching Nutzy and Ellie did awesome in the terrible heat (1oo degree weather, yuck!). I think Bill had a really good Father's Day even if he made his own burgers because he was scared I would screw up the recipe. Oh well! Also, potty training is going really well and I think we're almost there. It was so nice only changing one child's diaper at the game and Madelyn went in the public restroom like a pro.
