Surprise Party for Daddy!

Madelyn talked about having a surprise party for Daddy months ago and even told her teachers at school about it.  Bill's actual birthday happened to be a super busy and crazy day but we managed to get in a little surprise party in at the end.  Madelyn doesn't really understand the concept of a surprise party so she told Bill that we were having a party for him but he still acted surprised when he came down from the 3rd floor where he was working.  We invited Nana (Pop was out of town) and the Nolan's over for pizza and cake to celebrate. Uncle Sam's birthday was the week before so we also celebrated his birthday.  Here are some photos from our little "surprise" party:
