Bike Safety Day

Madelyn's preschool planned a Bike Safety Day today where they had police officers speak to the kids about bike safety and helmets and then had a little course for them to ride their bikes.  It was really cute and I actually learned that I need to get a new helmet for Madelyn.  I have it on my "to-do" for this weekend.  Madelyn thought it was so cool that she got to ride her Big Girl bike with all her preschool friends and the police officers.  She kept saying afterwards that she rode her bike VERY fast.  She was extremely serious and focused on her bike and didn't need any help at all when she was riding around the course.  It was a very fun school event for both kids and parents!

Listening to the police officers speak about bike safety!

All lined up to ride!

Very serious!

All done and very proud of herself!

Madelyn's preschool class.  You can see Madelyn is the shortest person in her class in this photo.  She was the smallest person on the biggest bike day!

Loved sitting in the police car.  Hopefully we don't have too many more photos like this!

Each kid got a metal and Madelyn was so excited and couldn't wait to take it home to show Ellie . Ellie spent the morning with Nana and went to music class!
