Memorial Day Weekend

Memorial Day weekend was a ton of fun in the sun for our family.  We kicked off the holiday weekend celebrating Bill's birthday at the opening night of the pool.  The first day is always a fun party and packed so it was pretty chaotic.  On Saturday, we left early for the Laynes new house on Lake Gaston and we stayed all day and into the evening.  It was an absolute blast.  The kids loved playing in the lake and on the float, riding on their boat and making wonderful childhood memories.  It is also so relaxing and Holden must love the lake because it is the 2nd time he's taken a 4 hour nap there.  We can't wait to go back again!  The rest of the weekend, we spent at the pool swimming and enjoying our first weekend of Summer.  The pool has now been open 6 days and we have gone 5 days.  I think we have a pool addiction and are looking forward to many fun times ahead this Summer!
