On Friday night, we played BINGO at Madelyn's elementary school. It was a lot of fun and Madelyn was so excited that she won a Barnes and Noble gift card. Since she won, she was also able to get a gift card for the person sitting to the right of her which was me. I gave my prize to Ellie so both girls were excited to make a trip to Barnes and Noble to use their gift cards. They both decided they wanted to buy My Little Pony stuffed animals. I could not convince them to get something useful like a book!
On Saturday, we spent most of the day getting Ellie's room straight with a Big Girl Bed. She was so excited that the girls had a sleepover together that night in Ellie's new bed. Unfortunately, we paid for the sleepover the next day because they were both up at 5:45 in the morning. Ugh!
On Sunday, it was almost 70 degrees so the kids played outside for most of the day. That evening, we even had an outside cookout with our next door neighbors and watched the Super Bowl on their Big Screen Projector. It was amazing that we were able to watch the Super Bowl this year outside. The kids LOVED it and watched the game for a little while followed by lots of games of Hide and Seek in the dark. What a fun night!
