So Long Winter

Here is a recap of the last couple of weeks as we say good bye to winter and welcome Daylight Savings and some warm weather.  Last weekend, I was able to enjoy a girl's weekend in NYC with my best JMU friends (except Karen Lamb - we missed you Karen).  It was so nice to get away and spend some quality time with my girlfriends and have some "me" time which does not always happen with little ones running around.  The girls loved spending some along time with Daddy and Pop (on Friday) which was a special treat for them.   Madelyn and Ellie finished their winter gymnastics classes.  Thanks to Grandpa and Vera, Madelyn was able to take one session of gymnastics and really enjoyed it and Ellie is now old enough to take the class without a parent so she is going to take a ballet/gym combo class this Spring.  She started her new class last week and has done awesome being in the class by herself.  We also got a surprise Snow Day last Wednesday.  The girls enjoyed playing in the snow one last time before the warm weather arrived this weekend.  Here are some pictures from our last couple of weeks:
