The good old fashioned fair

Last week, we ventured out to the fair with the rest of the world.  It seemed as if every school in Richmond was having a field trip there on Friday.  Our playgroup outing was rained out on Wednesday, so we took advantage of the sunny weather on Friday.  We went to the fair with Aunt Amy, Cora and Nana and met up with some of the moms and kids from our stroller strides playgroup.  The kids had a ton of fun.  Cora loved the animals, especially the sheep and pigs.  Madelyn's favorite part was the rides and could have gone on them all day long.  Ellie spent most of the time in the stroller observing her sister and friends pet animals and ride on the rides.  She was so good the entire day!  I've never been a big fair person until the last couple of years. The fair has grown on me and it's a really fun Fall outing to do with your kids!  Here are some pics from our outing:

This was the only ride Cora was tall enough ride by herself.  The girls rode on this ride at least 5 times!




They loved it and giggled the entire time!




I love this picture.  She was screaming for me to ride on the horse with her.  I eventually caved and rode behind her because I couldn't hold her up there any longer! 




This was right before Cora melted and they had to ride on the sleigh.   I'm sure it didn't help that Madelyn was screaming next to her! 




Madelyn on the airplane.  She was holding on so tight she barely moved the entire time.  She didn't realize that it goes up and down until she was on the ride all by herself!

They are so cute together.. They are just a couple days apart in age!




Madelyn and Isabella love riding on rides together..  On this ride, they had no idea that you could move the handle to make Dumbo go up and down.  Their elephant flew straight the entire ride.  It was pretty funny!
