Because of slow weight gain Madelyn had to have some blood tests and we found out she is positive for Celiac Disease. She had an endoscopy a couple of weeks ago which confirmed it so she has gone completely gluten free. This has been a huge lifestyle change for Madelyn and all of us but she has taken on this challenge like a champ and we can already see a change in her appetite and we think she has gained a pound or 2. We are so proud of her!
Madelyn is a very sweet, creative, independent and adventurous little girl. She is also very smart and loves to read. She has been playing soccer for 2 seasons and loves being on a team. She also takes Jazz/tap and has recently been taking an acting and singing class at Characterworks. Along with her social life, she stays very busy!
