Spring Break

I must say that this Spring Break was the best one we've had so far.  It was a ton of fun and we are all still recovering. We started the week with a trip to our friend's lake house.  It was so nice to relax and the kids enjoyed a fun sleepover in the basement. The Laynes are wonderful hosts and we loved seeing their beautiful new lake house.  After a day to recover, we then headed to the Outer Banks with the Nolans and some of our neighbors. It felt so good to be at the beach and felt like summer for a couple of days.  The kids enjoyed the hot tub, heated pool, playing in the sand and we even made a trip to Jockey's Ridge to play on the sand dunes.  We had 2 wonderful little vacations and are so lucky to have such great friends in our lives!
