Bye Bye Training Wheels!

While I was at a neighborhood meeting yesterday, Madelyn informed Bill that she is ready to take off her training wheels.  While wearing her knee and elbow pads, Madelyn rode her bike for the first time without her training wheels and did great.  She had a hard time getting off her bike once she's done but other than that she had no problem.  I guess all that practice with the balance bike paid off.  She is looking forward to taking her bike down to the cul-de-sac next weekend to test out her skills on the open road.  We were so proud of our big girl!
