Ellie is 2 years old!

This post is a little late because I was waiting for Ellie's 2-year well visit with Dr. Goradia.  Her well visit was last Thursday and it went really good and she didn't even cry when she got her shot!   Bill and I have really noticed a change in Ellie over the last couple of months and she is definitely no longer a baby. It makes me really sad, but it's so fun to hear her talk, interact with Madelyn and friends, and watch her personality blossom.  At 2-years old, Ellie:
  • Weights 26 lbs 13 oz  (39th percentile) and is 34 inches tall (52nd percentile)
  • Loves to blow bubbles, swing, and be outside.
  • Sleeps a good 12+ hours at night and takes a 2-4 hour nap in the afternoon.  She is an awesome sleeper!
  • Is talking up a storm.  She is talking in sentences and her favorite thing to say is "I hear something".  She is very observant!
  • Love to eat soft tacos, breakfast bars, yogurt, and fruit.  Her favorite food is still macaroni and cheese!
  • Mimics her Big Sister constantly and is lost while Madelyn is at preschool.  She is learning how to play alone.
  • Has started having her own little friends and playdates during the week.
  • Pays attention to Buddy more than anyone in our house.  She's Fenway's biggest fan!
  • Loves to go to library story time and music class with Ms. Nancy.  Ellie and I do these 2 outings together on preschool mornings.  She loves her little classes!
  • Favorite song is "Hush Little Baby" and tells me it's her favorite every night during bedtime.
  • Is very feisty and will often hit when she's mad.  We've been working on not hitting and and started enforcing time out for Little Miss Ellie!
  • Has separation anxiety and hates the church nursery.  She would rather go to mass and watch the angel speak (the priest).
  • Loves to Gallup everywhere.  She always has a little hop to her step.
  • Has the cutest little personality. She' so sweet and silly and makes us laugh every day.  We love you Ellie!
