Wintergreen

This past Saturday, we went to Wintergreen with the Nolans and Ackermans to go snow tubing.  Afterwards, we went down the mountain to Devil's Backbone for lunch and it was a blast.  The weather was gorgeous and we are already trying to plan another trip back up there.  It felt like we were on a mini vacation even if it was for only a day!

On January 21st, we got a huge snowstorm that kept the kids out of school for a week. We got about 18 inches over several days which was a lot for Richmond.  The snow was a blast.  Lots of playing outside with friends, sledding, neighborhood parties and much more.  Holden was not a big fan of the snow but the girls played in it non-stop, especially Ellie.  What a great week of family fun in the snow!
