River Fun

After the last day of school fiasco and the fact we had no power, we hopped in the car and headed to the Shumate river house.  It was an absolute blast and so many memories were made with our friends.  We ate great food, played in the water, tubed, went on the jet ski and just had a wonderful time!  We are so lucky to have such great friends in our neighborhood and it was a great place to celebrate Father's Day!

So happy to be in a place with power and have a warm shower!

Soccer for Ellie

Soccer Season ended the 2nd weekend in June for Bill and Ellie and boy was it hot at the end.  Bill was pleasantly surprised at how much he enjoyed coaching a soccer team.  Ellie gave soccer her best shot and got "Most Improved" but not sure if Ellie is going to continue her soccer career.  She had the sweetest little team and the best coaches so it was a great experience to be on the Rosebuds team!

Our Little Man

This little man keeps all of us on our toes but we cannot imagine life without him and cannot give this little boy enough love.  Even though he climbs on the counters, the kitchen table, is constantly trying to escape through every exterior door in our house, steals food from the pantry and everyone he is around and is into absolutely everything, he has a smile that melts all of our hearts!   Here are some recent photos of Holden and what he's been up to recently:

Ellie's Kindergarten Performance

Ellie's Kindergarten Class did a little performance a couple of weeks after school ended and it was the cutest thing ever!  Ellie was all smiles and loved singing and dancing during the show.  She also did great on her little speaking part.  She had to say "I am learning to count and read!"  Ellie was so excited to see Aunt Amy at the show because she had the day off.  Nana and Josh come to all of the school functions which is such a treat but it was extra special to have Aunt Amy there this time!   Ellie had a great class and teacher this year.  We had some ups and downs throughout the year with Ellie crying but overall she had a great first year of Elementary School and we are so proud of her!

Memorial Day Weekend Fun

We are so excited that summer is here and we only have a couple more weeks left of School. It's our favorite time of year with the warm weather, pool and lots of family and friend time.  Here are some photos from our holiday weekend!
