Happy Birthday Bill

Bill's birthday weekend was a lot of fun.  Saturday was a rainy day so we went over to the Ackermans house for dinner and a little birthday celebration.  On Sunday, we went over to the Moore's house for Judah's birthday party and stayed afterwards for a little pizza and more birthday celebrations.  The girls worked so hard on Bill's Birthday cards and were so excited to give him his cards and gifts.  It was a great weekend.  Happy Birthday Bill.  We love you!

Girl Scout Night at the Diamond

We love going to the Flying Squirrels Game for Girl Scout Night at the Diamond.  The troops get to parade around the field before the game and they have so much fun eating junk food and hanging out with their Girl Scout friends.  It's a fun night for everyone!

Derby Party

Our good friends in the neighborhood host a Kentucky Derby Party every year and here are some photos from this year's party.  It was so much fun and the girls love wearing their fancy hats!

Dance Pictures

Madelyn had dance photos a couple of weeks ago and we enjoyed taking some photos of the girls in their costume.  It's one of  Madelyn's favorite dance practices.  Madelyn has loved taking Jazz/Tap with Cora this year and they are looking forward to taking Jazz/Tap 2 next year!

This was taken at one of Madelyn's finale rehearsals.  She is going to be Mary Poppins at the end of the recital this year.  You get to participate when you are 8 years old.

Almost Camp Out

Since a lot of Ellie's Daisy troop were unable to attend the Service Unit Camping Trip, we had a little Almost Camp Out so they could experience some camping fun.  Unfortunately it rained so we had to move the location from my backyard to a friend's basement.  It still turned out to be a ton of fun and the girls loved singing campfire songs, playing in the tent and roasting marshmallows on our fake campfire!  Ellie has such a sweet group of girls in her troop!

Mother's Day

On Mother's Day we went to church and then headed over to Lewis Ginter for lunch.  Unfortunately, Madelyn was not feeling well so we had to cut our Mother's Day Excursion short.  Even if our plans changed, it was a wonderful Mother's Day being able to spend a little time with  my mom and my three little munchkins.  I am one lucky Mommy!

Girl Scout Camp

A couple of weeks again the girls and I attended our Service Unit Girl Scout Camp.  Madelyn's troop spent the night on Friday night and Ellie and a couple of her friends met us on Saturday morning for the day.  It was quite the experience and I will admit I was really nervous about spending the night in a cabin with 11 girls on Friday.  Friday night was a little rough with a mice in the room and little to no sleep for Angie and I but overall, the girls had a great time and I survived!  Here are some photos from our weekend:
