Jingle Bell Jog and School Holiday Party

The girls enjoyed their last day of school before Winter Break with the Jingle Bell Jog and I helped with Ellie's Mexican Fiesta Holiday Party.  It was so much fun watching them march around the school and I loved seeing Ellie with her little classmates!

Holiday fun

It has been such a busy holiday season which is the reason I am so behind on this blog. Here are some of the things we have been doing in December!

Girl Scout Gingerbread House Party for Ellie's Daisy Troop

Lots of time swinging outside because it has been so warm all month!

We went to a Live Nativity with our FIRE group

Handsome Boy

Went to Lewis Ginter Festival of Lights with the Nolans!

We have spent lots of time outside with our neighbors who are moving this week.  We are going to miss them so much!

We have been trying to teach this boy how to walk!

Sock Exchange Holiday Party with Madelyn's troop!

Madelyn and Ellie love gymnastics, especially with Cora!

Getting ready for the new Star Wars movie!
Enjoying having our elf Simon back at our house!

Legendary Santa and Christmas Parade

We have started making it a tradition to visit the legendary Santa the first weekend in December because the line is usually shorter and we get to see some of the Christmas Parade afterwards.  This year, the line was not shorter but luckily Nana and Pop got their early and reserved a spot in line and we even got to see Santa come down the chimney. It was so much fun and a beautiful day to watch the parade too!  Madelyn asked for the American Girl wheelchair from Santa and Ellie asked for a big pink bear!  Holden was in shock, especially when Santa almost dropped him during the cousins photo!
